Over the weekend, I was approached by fellow Photographer, Steve Hadley, in regards to some editing work. Originally, he had seen one of my blog posts about a friend's wedding portraits, where she needed people removed from the image (you can read that blog post here). Steve remembered that this was something I could do and contacted me as he had a client that needed someone removing from two photographs. I took a look at the images and instantly said I could do this for him.
Removing a subject from a photograph can be really tricky and it takes a lot of patience and multiple uses of tools to perfect the image. I used the clone tool, patch tool, spot healing, adjustment layers, copy & pasting and the brush tool countless times.
It took be a good number of hours to have the finished pieces seen below, but as you can see both images appear as if the original lady was never there. Magic!
